About
The objective for this project was to design a business in downtown Southern Pines. The developer of this building honors his family in his projects, so I named this project after his youngest grandchild, Wenhui. The name means “cultured and kind”. This gave me inspiration to create a modern, Asian tea house where people can learn about and connect in an environment that is a cornerstone of Asian culture.

Final presentation to client with adjustments. Provided a spec book for client.
Fourth Milestone
Presented design to client, then made adjustments according to client's request.
Third Milestone
Collected finishes and furnishings to compile into presentation to present to the client along with research and developed floor plan.
Second Milestone
Researched business concept and began sketching various floor plan options.
First Milestone
Site visit to meet developer and reviewed goals for property's development.
